Sr. Software Developer

About You
You are an experience developer with strong communication skills and a self-starter mentality who takes the initiative to contribute to project success.  You will be involved in various phases of software development, including analysis, design, evaluation, development, configuration and testing.
 
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration, back-up & restore)
  • Experience with C#, VB.Net, ASP/ASP.Net, PowerShell, XML & Azure devops
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC
 
Responsibilities
  • Development, customization and enhancement of third-party applications using Visual Studio
  • Creating and modification of queries, functions, stored procedures, views and custom reports in SQL
  • Creating ADHOC queries
  • Tracking, maintaining, and applying application patches and database scripts
  • Backup and restoration of application databases and applying application patches and database scripts
  • Supporting and troubleshooting applications and databases in SQL Server
  • Unit testing of modifications and enhancements ensuring system integrity is maintained
  • Analyzing user stories/requirements, translating them into design documents, technical specs and technical deliverables and determining which tools and technologies to utilize
