About the Position

In this role you will be providing SQA support to the application development undertakings ensuring quality software processes and procedures that enable quality user experiences.

Qualifications of the Position
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years’ of experience software testing & quality assurance, including UI test automation, designing test strategies and performance and security testing tools
  • Experience with JavaScript UI and testing frameworks
  • Experience with AWS services (required)
  • Experience in software development with a good understanding of the SDLC
  • Experience with HTML, XML, Groovy, JMeter, SmartBear, TestComplete, QAComplete, LoadComplete, LoadUI, SoapUi, Nightwatch JS, and PractiTest
  • Experience with Selenium and Protractor JS (At least one is required; prefer experience with  both)

Responsibilities of the Position
  • Actively lead software QA activities for various applications
  • Triage, diagnose, report, track and resolve quality issues
  • Perform as the lead in root cause analysis for complex software and data issues
  • Define the strategies and create the detailed test plans, test case development, Test execution and results documentation
  • Assist all aspects of system testing, regression testing and UAT testing
  • Drive the Automation Framework / Maturity Models by developing test suites with automation tools (record and play back via use of scripting)
  • Drive the Automation Framework / Maturity Models by partnering with development teams to create and perform automated testing
  • Lead testing initiatives at the project level

Competencies Needed for the Position
  • Expert Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA Processes
  • Expert Experience developing and executing manual and automated test suites
  • Expert Experience with QA tools and techniques, including test suite software, automation tools, defect tracking, business requirement documentation, etc.
  • Expert Experience taking functional requirements and creating test suites that take into account the impact of systems changes across multiple systems
  • Experience testing integrated environments and troubleshooting across an integrated platform
  • Experience testing various platforms/enterprise applications
  • Significant exposure and use of browser and server side test automation tools
  • Ability to utilize database queries
