As a UI Developer, you will help our client support and grow their e-commerce platform, which processes billions of dollars in B2B transactions around the world.  The individual they desire for this role is someone who has outstanding web development expertise, a track record of creative web site development, a systems perspective, and a passion for user experience.
Development Environment
  • Our client develops applications using HTML, SCSS, React and Redux
  • The work environment is one of collaboration, where you will work with teammates locally and remotely to develop rich interfaces for the e-commerce platform following design specs/mockups, style guides and standards.
  • Developing within an Agile framework - Design > Build > Feedback > Repeat
  • Working with UX, marketing, services, and management teams throughout the development cycle.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, such as component-based architectures, browser evolutions, W3C standards, and web accessibility.
  • Building new features with modern patterns, support applications using jQuery, extend Adobe AEM Web Content Management, and interface with services from our Java Spring server.
  • Fluency with vanilla JavaScript.
  • Someone who has a lot of great ideas and wants to implement them.
  • Strong ability with HTML, CSS.
  • Experience building complex web applications
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of JS / CSS libraries like jQuery, Foundation, and any modern framework.
  • Someone who enjoys the complexity of large applications and appreciates the opportunities in legacy code.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science
  • 2-4 years of Web Development experience, or similar experience
Desired Skills
  • Experience developing with other languages, patterns and frameworks.
  • Experience with Java environments / services.
  • Experience with Redux
  • Understanding of web accessibility and browser compatibility concerns.
  • Experience with test driven development
